The wonderful thing about this program is that the teachers engage the students, instead of calling on those who volunteer or raise their mitt. In doing so, those otherwise shy/introverted children would non gain social skills. From the literature perspective, the books are on par with the class level. My child has been participating in this plan for several years and sometimes the books assigned in this program/class accept already been read as curriculum in her schoolhouse. Overall, I am very pleased with the value of this plan.

Amazing program
Amazing program! My husband and i signed our kid up for the program over the summertime and he really enjoyed the program, He enjoyed the interaction with the teacher and the books used for the programme. He started back to school this year a much more than confident and eager reader. He now wants to read at to the lowest degree 2 or 3 books a day; if not more. Excellent plan!

Great Program
Groovy eight calendar week program that helped build my son's confidence in reading and too helped him read more than fluently. The homework assignments were very engaging and my son looked frontward to completing them every week.

A Great Plan
We began this programme in the Fall of 2020 for my then 1st grader who was below average for her level. At the stop of the plan, which was in time for mid-year assessments her level increased to her appropriate level. I decided to enroll her in the program again during the summer to ensure she remained at her appropriate reading level for second grade. We accept seen a tremendous increase in her reading ability and confidence. I highly recommend this programme.

The online reading program is fabulous
The online reading program is fabled! Everything taught in the sessions whether online or individual work is a total reinforcement for what is needed in fifth grade. I honey how the teachers are cognizant of each educatee and include them in the discussions. I would recommend this program to anyone wanting their child to keep upwards with reading or claiming them to read upper level. It's a perfect programme for kids who like to talk in pocket-sized groups and share their ideas.

My granddaughter is and so much more than…
My granddaughter is then much more confident in reading. These lessons are perfect for 1st graders. l like the interaction with "Wordy" the star and the games they play. I would recommend this form to others. I accept signed my granddaughter up for the Fall session as well.

My 5 year one-time son going into…
My five yr old son going into Kindergarten learned so much from this reading program. He was having and so much trouble with phonics and this helped him tremendously. His teacher was great and he loves reading books even more now! I volition definitely have him exercise this plan again next summertime.

5th grade reading program
My child loved the 5th grade reading program. The selection of books were really great and he was motivated to read the lessons to prepare for the session. The facilitation was also great and he loved interacting with his peers and teacher. I would highly recommend this program.

I'm glad I signed up
I'm glad I signed upward. My 5th grade son wasn't happy at offset, but information technology didn't have long for him to go into information technology. The Zoom meetings intimidated him, but he had a great teacher who was animated and engaging. The first volume, 'Tuck Everlasting', started off slow and wordy, and I began to dread getting into the programme. However, past the 3rd affiliate, we didn't desire to put it down. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was besides a great read and my 7th grader saturday in on the readings as well. Nosotros would read and hash out what or why something happened, which helped my son retain what he read. We were told what the books for the fifth grade program and he'due south onboard with starting a new class.

Reading Improvement
This reading plan was definitely worth it. My 7 year former daughter completed a 8 week programme this summer, and I can tell she reads more than fluently. This will be our summer government to go on her skills intact.

Echo Books - Real Thwarting
We enjoyed several of the reading classes/groups for 5th graders, but we were very disappointed by the Speed Reading, Writing & Study Skills Program for Inbound 6th Graders.
The teacher was peachy. I'd give her and her lessons v stars.
Simply one of the two novels the grouping read was a repeat of a novel from a 5th class group. In that location are so many amazing mid course books. Information technology was sheer laziness for the plan to repeat a volume in 2 different, but consecutive classes.
When a class ends, the program sends emails encouraging families to sign upwardly for the next course. They know kids will exercise a 5th grade grade, and then an entering 6th course class. Then they know a lot of families will pay twice for lessons on the same book.
Pro Tip - Before you annals for anything, ask what books are in the form.
